Introducing our new logo…

Arts Toodyay Unveils New Logo to Celebrate 20 Years of Creativity and Community

To mark its 20th anniversary, Arts Toodyay is proud to unveil a brand-new logo that captures the spirit of our vibrant artistic community. Selected through a local design competition, the winning logo was created by artist Chelle Ellery, whose thoughtful and symbolic design stood out for its heart, relevance, and imagination. We would like to thank HairFunk for their generous donation of the prize money for the competition.

Chelle’s logo features the Carnaby’s cockatoo, an endangered native bird known for its resilience—a fitting symbol for both the challenges and triumphs of the artistic journey. As Chelle explains:

“I chose the Carnaby’s cockatoo for our logo because it’s a symbol of resilience. This endangered bird needs community support to survive—just like artists need encouragement and space to grow.
The paintbrush in its claw represents creativity and the idea that we can shape our own future. For me, this design is playful but meaningful—a reminder that through art and community, even rare voices can be heard.”

The new logo reflects Arts Toodyay’s ongoing commitment to supporting local artists and fostering creative expression across the region. As we look ahead to the next 20 years, we do so with renewed passion, purpose, and pride in the power of art to bring people together.
